Aldershot 1911 & Dibgate 1912

The July-August 1912 annual camp of King Edward’s Horse was held at Dibgate Plateau, Shorncliffe in Kent with severe gales a noted feature.

Figure 66:  Postcard of a group of King Edward's Horse Officers (two sitting in centre of the front row with single cuff bands for Second Lieutenants), Squadron Quarter Master Serjeant  (sitting centre third row with crown above four inverted chevrons), Squadron Sergeant Majors (one sitting left hand front row and the other sitting centre of the second row both with crowns above Serjeant chevrons), several other NCOs and Other Ranks in Service Dress and Undress uniforms.  A number of the NCOs are still wearing King's Colonials collar badges but none of them are wearing King Edward's Horse collar badges.
